OSSTF at Hamilton Pride

OSSTF has always held a firm belief in equity for our members and students. The District 21 Political Action Committee will have a table set up to promote the federation's beliefs of equity in education at the Hamilton Pride Festival at Pier 4 Park, from noon to 6pm, on Saturday, June 14th.

We are looking for anyone interested in helping to staff the table at the park or carry an OSSTF flag at the preceding rally. If you are interested, please contact the District Office at 905-574-8285 to let us know if you are willing to help.

Annual Family Picnic

The District 21 4th Annual Family Picnic will take place from 11am-3pm at Gage Park on June 1st.

We usually set up flags and tables within 100 yards of the Lawrence Rd. parking lot. There will be food and soft drinks provided. This is a free event for OSSTF members and their families.

There will be activities and prizes for the children.

As we are in a municipal park, this is a non-licensed event. The picnic is not meant to be used as a drop-off centre for children. We do not provide daycare; you are expected to be present with your children at all times.

Please come out and help us countdown the last 4 weeks of the school year!
